Saturday 17 October marked the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, and the APLE Collective (Addressing Poverty with Lived Experience) have produced videos for the event. They focus around four different questions and themes:
- What does the 17th of October mean to you?
- Status 4 All
- What does it feel like to have a voice?
- What does would it look like to be heard?
The APLE Collective’s videos emphasise the need to listen to people with lived experience of poverty, both to inform discussions on the subject and influence people in decision-making positions.
