Poverty in Scotland 2018

October 2, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Keynote address: Aileen Campbell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Communities & Local Government.

This year, we will be exploring what lies behind the higher risks and poverty rates for families with children and identify what more we can do to support women and families where someone is disabled, to build a better future for themselves.

In light of the Scottish Government’s forthcoming strategy on the gender pay gap and disability employment action plan, this timely event will bring together policy makers, practitioners, employers, those with lived experience and politicians to discuss our findings and agree how best to harness these opportunities to support families, particularly those balancing work and care.
