Bringing child poverty to an end

A reception for the launch of Child Poverty Action Group’s new book, Poverty: the Facts, Hosted by Dan Jarvis MP. The UK’s child poverty rate is rising. In some constituencies children are more likely to be in poverty than not. Nationally, IFS projections show 5.1 million children will be poor by 2021-22.
But what is poverty? How should we measure it? Why is it rising now? Who is most at risk today? What will end it?
