A hub for discussions on eradicating poverty and creating a good society

Help us further the discussion on a good society

Following publication of Barry Knight’s Rethinking Poverty, we want to create a space for further discussions and developments and a resource for those working in the field. Here you will find blogs produced and commissioned by us, highlights from other poverty writers and practitioners, and listings and write-ups of events on UK poverty.

Our aim is to create and sustain the narrative on a good society, to help connect promising approaches, and, most importantly, to convene key people and initiatives.

We want to hear from you. Please get in touch with any blogs, research, publications or events you think should be included here. Only through working together will we be able to change the narrative on UK poverty.

To discuss a contribution please contact: [email protected]

‘Rethinking Poverty: What Makes a Good Society?’ presents a summary of the work of the Webb Memorial Trust over the past five years.  It is available from Policy Press for £7.99 or to download for free.
