Meet the Author; Stewart Lansley

As part of our Action on Poverty and Hardship Degree, Staffordshire University are working in partnership with Rethinking Poverty to run a series of Meet the Author webinars connected to our Anti-Poverty Conference on 20th June on campus.

The first event welcomes Stewart Lansley, author of ‘The Richer; The Poorer; How Britain Enriched the Few and Failed the Poor.’ Described as a ‘remarkably informed and readable history with a powerful message’ by Jacob S.Hacker at Yale University the book details the history of both rich and poor over the last 200 years.

Our Action on Poverty Degree Students will be interviewing Stewart Lansley on his book and there will be opportunities to learn more about the degree, Lansley’s ideas and to ask questions yourself.

This webinar is essential for anybody interested in anti-poverty work; potential Action on Poverty and Hardship Degree students, academics and policy markers alike.
